Empire Egyptians started in Upstate New York  (Hence the Empire name) back in 1994 as a way of supporting our performance horse back riding addiction. Marlis and Michael Amato had the vision of creating an Empire for their breeding and love for Egyptian Arabian Horses, with the purchase of 3 foundation mares and an exquisite Black Stallion.  Since that original group of foundation horses, Empire Egyptians has evolved, grown and changed their business location, now located in Timberlake North Carolina on 50 acres in a small community area in Person County.

After 24 years of business, Marlis Amato passed away in 2018 and the legacy is now moving forward through her daughter Jillian, husband Paul and their 2 daughters Gianna (11) and Ainslee (6) and her widower Michael. Empire Egyptians is excited of the future and we hope you all will join us along the journey!
